See and Hear

The sound jumped from building to building, like a moving reflection, you could hear it tail out in two opposite directions in the same breath. Then deep in the distance, thump. Thump, like imploding air. Thump, sixteen more flights.

O.W.S Zuccotti Park 2011

There are many missions,  agendas,  going on at once within the occupation.
The most common and constant activity at the occupation is sleeping.
Free Art

An occupying couple take a break as another guy occupies a cardboard box.  Organizers lay out free protest signs as  newcomers look for a winner... and stare at the man in the box.

This occupier stood on Liberty Street with his signs all morning and then retired to  Zuccotti Park for a mid-day nap.

Chile DAY 6: Where am I?

The European Southern Observatory is breathtaking, but aside from the location-- check out the map-- their research is incredible, basically focusing on stars getting eaten by the black hole in the center of our galaxy.  If you think my Milky Way photo below is cool, then check out this link from their website. http://atacamaphoto.com/paranal/paranal55.html

Chile DAY 4: European Southern Observatory

That's a real laser folks. The ESO's Very Large Telescope (VLT) shoots a laser 90km into the sky aimed at the exact center of the Milky Way Galaxy where there is a black hole.  There are 4 identical VLT's (see three below) that use the laser point to re-calibrate focus which enables the massive lenses to see even further.
